AI Quiz Maker is a web app that turns a lesson, a PDF, a photo of a worksheet, a web page or a topic into a quiz. Teachers check and edit the questions, share one link with their class, and see which questions students got wrong. It is run by the AI Quiz Maker team at aiquizmaker.co.
You give it material and choose the question types: multiple choice, multiple answer, true or false, short answer, fill in the blank, matching, ordering, FAQ or a written answer that you mark with the AI's suggestions. It writes a set of questions with an answer key and an explanation for each, in English or in more than 100 other languages. You can also turn an existing worksheet into a quiz instead of writing new questions from it.
A finished quiz can be shared as a link that students open without an account, printed, or exported. Exports cover 19 formats, including Kahoot, Quizizz, Quizlet, Gimkit, Blooket, Moodle, QTI for Canvas and other learning platforms, Word, PDF and CSV, and every format is available on the free plan.
Alongside the quiz maker there are 49 free classroom tools (timers, seating charts, word searches, printable paper and more). They run in the browser and need no sign-up; names typed into them stay on your device.
Questions are written by OpenAI language models from the material you provide. Treat every quiz as a first draft: the AI can misread a source, pick a weak wrong answer or, occasionally, mark the wrong option as correct.
To catch the last of those, quizzes made from a topic, text, PDF, photo or link get an answer check: a second model answers each multiple-choice and true-or-false question without seeing the key, and judges the keys of short-answer and fill-in-the-blank questions. When it confidently disagrees, the question is flagged in the editor so you can look at it. A flag is a prompt to check, not a verdict, and an unflagged question still deserves a read.
Questions you write or edit yourself are never changed by the AI. The AI tools in the editor (make easier, make harder, reword, new wrong answers) only change a question when you ask, and nothing is saved until you press Save.

The free plan includes 20 AI quiz generations, quizzes of up to 15 questions, and 2 workspaces with up to 3 members each. Pro costs $10 a month or $72 a year and includes 300 generations a month, quizzes of up to 50 questions, and 10 workspaces with up to 10 members. If you cancel, you keep every quiz, link and result.
