Behavior chart maker

Individual weekly charts, clip charts, class star charts and sticker charts. Rename the levels, add the class list, then print or show the chart full screen on the board.

Classroom rules poster maker

Up to ten rules, numbered or bulleted, in a colourful, minimal, nature or space theme with an optional border. Print on Letter, A4 or 11×17, or save a PNG to laminate.

Chore chart maker

A weekly chore chart with a box for each day and a star count, or a classroom jobs board that rotates students through the jobs each week and goes up on the projector.

KWL chart maker

KWL, KWHL, KWLS, KWLQ or KWL+. Type the topic, add entries to each column as the class discusses, then print the finished chart or a blank one for students.

Exit ticket generator

Enter the lesson topic, subject and grade and get a printable exit ticket with three to five multiple-choice, short-answer, rating and reflection questions written for that lesson, or start from a ready-made template.

SMART goal worksheet

Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound, with an action-step list, in a K–5 or grades 6+ version. For student goal-setting, IEP meetings and parent conferences.

How the printables work

Every tool on this page follows the same pattern: fill in a few fields, check the preview, print.

  1. 1

    Pick the printable

Use the list above to jump to the hall pass, behavior chart, rules poster, chore chart, KWL chart, exit ticket or goal sheet.

    5 seconds

  2. 2

    Fill in the fields

Names, rules, chores or the lesson topic. The exit ticket generator writes the questions for you from the topic.

    1 minute

  3. 3

    Check the preview

Each printable renders as it will print. Change a theme, a zone label or a column and the preview updates.

    instant

  4. 4

    Print

Print from the page, or fill a chart in full screen on the board first. The rules poster also saves as a PNG, and the exit ticket copies as text.

What these printables have in common

  • Sized for the wall and the desk

The rules poster and clip chart fill a whole sheet (the poster also prints on 11×17); hall passes print 2 to 8 and exit tickets 1 to 4 to a page.

  • Editable before printing

Zone names, destinations, rules and chores are plain text fields, so the sheet uses your classroom's words.

  • Exit tickets written for the lesson

The one AI tool on the page: three tickets a day without an account, or from your plan's generations when signed in. Four ready-made templates need no AI.

  • Auto date and time

A dated hall pass is stamped with the date and time the moment you add the student, so it is accurate when the student leaves.

  • Saved in your browser

Student names, class lists and settings are saved in this browser only, not on our servers, so each tool opens as you left it.

  • No sign-up, no watermark

Free to use, and the printout carries only what you typed.

Classroom management on paper

Most of what keeps a classroom running is not the lesson. It is the pass a student needs to go to the nurse, the chart that tells a seven-year-old how the day is going, the rules on the door that a supply teacher can point to, and the ticket that tells you at 3:05 whether the lesson landed. These are small documents, they get lost, and they get remade every September. This page collects seven of them so they can be remade in a minute rather than an evening.

Each tool used to have its own page. The hall pass, behavior chart, rules poster, chore chart, KWL chart, exit ticket and SMART goal worksheet now sit together because they are used by the same person at the same time of year, and because a page that explains when to use a behavior chart is more useful than seven pages that each explain one button. Old links still work and land on the matching section.

Hall passes and behavior charts

A hall pass has two jobs: it tells another adult that the student is allowed to be in the corridor, and it tells you how long they have been gone. A dated pass is stamped with the date and time when you add the student, and every pass prints the destination in large type, so both jobs are done at a glance. Print a sheet of reusable passes at the start of the week with your name and room already on them and laminate them for a dry-erase marker, or add a student on screen for a dated pass. A sign-out log for the door is one click away.

Behavior charts work when the language on them is the language you use in class. The clip chart on this page starts with six zones, from Outstanding down to Consequences; every label is editable and you can keep three to eight. Many primary teachers now prefer a chart with more positive zones than negative ones, or a star chart that only records good choices; both are available, along with a sticker chart and an individual weekly chart that tracks a few behaviours by day. Add the class list and each student gets a row or a clip position. Print the clip chart as one sheet or one level per page for the wall, or a weekly chart for every student for their folders.

Rules posters, chore charts and KWL charts

A rules poster is most effective when the rules are few, positively phrased and visible. The poster maker takes up to ten rules, shrinks the text so they all fit, and lays them out as a numbered or bulleted list in one of four themes. Starter sets for PBIS, Whole Brain Teaching, K–2 and high school give you a first draft. Minimal prints cleanly in black and white; colourful, nature and space are for colour printing or a laminated display. Save as PNG and the same poster can go on the classroom website or the first slide of the year.

The chore chart is a weekly grid: one row per chore, a box for each day, ticked on screen with a running star count or printed with empty boxes. For classroom jobs there is a separate jobs board that rotates students through the jobs each week and can go up full screen on the projector. The KWL chart is different in kind. It is a thinking routine rather than a form. Before a topic the class lists what they Know and what they Want to know; after it, what they Learned. Fill it in live on the projector during the discussion and print it at the end so the class can see their own questions answered.

Exit tickets that match the lesson

An exit ticket is a three-to-five-minute check at the end of a lesson: a few questions that tell you whether to reteach tomorrow. Writing a fresh one for every lesson is the part that does not happen. The exit ticket generator on this page takes the topic, the subject and the grade level and writes a ticket of three to five questions, mixing multiple-choice, short-answer, rating and reflection, in language matched to the grade. Choose a focus area if you want the ticket to test one thing rather than the whole lesson.

Because the questions are generated, this tool is rate-limited: three tickets a day without signing in; signed in, each ticket uses one of your plan's generations. It is the only tool on this page that talks to a server. The topic you type is sent to generate the questions and is not stored with your name. If you would rather not use AI, the exit ticket tool has four ready-made templates, and the KWL chart and the SMART goal sheet work without any server.

SMART goals for students and meetings

The SMART goal worksheet is a one-page form with a section for each letter: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-bound, followed by an action-step list. Students in upper primary and secondary can complete it at the start of a term; it is also the format many schools use for IEP targets and for the goal a student brings to a parent conference. Print it blank for a class set, or fill it in on screen with a student during a one-to-one and print the result for the file.

For the lesson itself, the same site can turn a PDF, a photo of a textbook page or a topic into a quiz with an answer key. The printables here stay free and need no account; the AI quiz maker has a free plan as well.

Classroom printables questions

The questions teachers ask before printing.

Yes. All seven print for free without an account and without a watermark. The exit ticket generator, which uses AI, allows three tickets a day without signing in and more with a free account.

Dated passes do: type the student name, pick a destination and the pass is stamped with the date and time you add it. Reusable passes leave the name, time out and time in blank, to fill in by hand or on a laminated card.

Individual weekly charts marked with faces or boxes, clip charts with three to eight editable levels, class star charts that record positive choices, and sticker charts. Add a class list and each student gets a row, or a weekly chart of their own.

Up to ten. The layout shrinks the text so ten rules still fit on one sheet. Fewer, positively worded rules are easier for students to remember.

A short check at the end of a lesson, usually a few questions done in three to five minutes. The generator writes three to five questions from your topic and grade level so the ticket matches the lesson.

Not on our servers. Names, class lists, rules and goals are saved only in this browser so each tool reopens as you left it. The exit ticket generator sends only the topic, subject, grade and question settings to write the questions.

The rules poster prints on Letter, A4 or 11×17 tabloid, and its PNG download can go to a print shop for larger sizes. The clip chart prints as one sheet or one level per page, so the levels can go up on the wall as a tall column.
