Why Gimkit gets the answer text, not a letter
Gimkit's spreadsheet template is simpler than most: one column for the question, one for the correct answer and up to three for incorrect answers. There is no answer letter or answer position to keep track of, only the text of each answer. The export follows that shape. For each multiple-choice question it writes the correct choice's text in Correct Answer and the remaining choices, in the order they appear in your quiz, into the incorrect columns.
That has one practical consequence: Gimkit can only hold three wrong answers. If a question has five or more choices, the wrong choices after the third are dropped from the file (the correct one is always kept), and the export tells you how many questions lost a choice. Four-choice questions export without losing anything except the explanation.
